We just heard about Ed's passing. How sad, but how wonderful that you had him with you for 67 years!! That is a wonderfully long time. It was a pleasure to know him in the early years when we moved to Savannah. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Fondly, Pat and Marion

I am very glad I had the pleasure of caring for Mr.Franz. He was always pleasant, and would shake my hand and say 'I like u Bev' I would always hear him praying from the hallway and he would thank God for sending me to care for him, which would always make my day. I know that his soul is at peace and pray God be with his family during their loss.

I worked with Ed a number of years ago when I was with Gilman Paper Company and prior to that Union Camp. Hal Johnson was our National Sales Representative who reported to Ed. Ed was a fine man to deal with as well as a problem solver. I considered him a friend and I am saddened by his passing.
